Privacy policy
Draft. Last updated October 17, 2026. This page is being reviewed and may change. It is not legal advice.
The short version
We collect as little as possible: no accounts, no ads, no tracking cookies, no analytics, no database. Fonts are self-hosted, so no third-party requests.
What we process
- Discord bot. When you use
/setupor/fix, Discord sends us your command options (game, the server address you enter, optional IP addresses, versions and error text) plus your Discord user and server IDs. We use them to answer your command. Your user ID is kept in memory for about a minute for rate limiting. The bot does not read ordinary chat messages. - Web check. The form fields you submit and your IP address (for rate limiting, held in memory briefly).
- Server tests. We send a small test packet to the one public address and port you enter and read the server's public status reply (e.g. name, version, player count).
- Logs. Our hosting provider (Railway) keeps application logs, which may include errors and request metadata such as IP addresses, for a limited time.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your data, except with service providers needed to run Server Doctor (Discord, Railway).
- We don't store your inputs in a database, and we don't build profiles.
Third parties
Using the bot is also subject to Discord's privacy policy. Hosting links take you to third-party sites with their own policies.
Children
Discord requires users to be at least 13 (or older in some countries). Server Doctor is not directed at children under 13.
Your choices
Remove the bot from your Discord server at any time. Since we don't keep a database, there's normally nothing stored to delete. For requests: Email hello@serverdoctor.app.
